Chhath Puja: Which states have declared holidays

Several Indian states, including Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh, have declared public holidays for Chhath Puja, a festival honoring the Sun God. The holiday, falling on November 7th, will also close schools in some states to accommodate the festival's rituals.
