Three given death for rape-murder of 8-year-old in Karnataka

A Mangaluru court sentenced three men to death for the rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl in 2021. The trio, factory workers from Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh, lured the girl to the factory, sexually assaulted her, and then strangled her to death. The court also ordered compensation to be paid to the victim's family.
