High court voids Himachal’s appointment of 6 parliamentary secretaries

The Himachal Pradesh High Court deemed the appointment of six Congress MLAs as chief parliamentary secretaries unconstitutional. The court declared the appointments void and ordered the immediate withdrawal of all privileges and facilities, stating the appointments were outside the legislative authority of the state assembly.
