Tamil Nadu man held for stealing Rs 15,000 from Srivari Hundi at Tirupati temple

A thief stole ₹15,000 from Tirumala temple's donation box using a glue strip. Temple security and police caught him. This happened on November 23rd, but was just revealed. The thief, Venu Lingam, has a history of similar crimes. Such thefts occur every few years, but culprits are always apprehended. The temple has strong security, including CCTV surveillance.
