Ex-Union minister P P Choudhary will lead the joint parliamentary committee (JPC) on the "one nation, one election" bills. The 31-member JPC includes first-time MPs Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Anil Baluni, Sambit Patra, and Bansuri Swaraj. The committee will examine the two bills introduced in the Lok Sabha, proposing simultaneous Lok Sabha and state assembly elections.
