Ajmer highway blaze: SIT launches manhunt for tanker driver, to probe cause of accident

An LPG tanker, en route from Gujarat to Uttar Pradesh, collided with a truck on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway after attempting a U-turn. The resulting explosion killed 13 and injured over 30. Police are investigating the tanker driver, who fled the scene, and the structural integrity of the tanker, whose safety valves failed upon impact.
