Man, 65, gets 20 years in jail in NDPS case; court says drug menace spreading widely in society

A Mumbai special court sentenced 65-year-old Nitin Bhanushali to 20 years in prison for drug trafficking in a 1989 contraband seizure case. Bhanushali and others were found with 4,365 kg of hashish valued at Rs 2.62 crore. The court emphasized the social menace of narcotic addiction and noted Bhanushali showed no remorse.
