Man dies in UP cop custody, kin allege torture

Mohd Irfan, 50, detained by Sambhal police over a monetary dispute, died of a cardiac arrest allegedly after being denied his heart medication in custody. He was detained despite recent surgery. Police claim he took his medication before collapsing, backed by CCTV footage, while his family disputes the police's account.
