Home ministry cracks down on NGOs misusing foreign contributions post FCRA expiry

The home ministry warns NGOs of penal action for receiving or utilising foreign contributions after their FCRA certificate has been cancelled or expired. NGOs must register or renew their certificate under the FCRA 2010 and use funds only for specified purposes. Violations will lead to penal action.
