Women can opt for surrogacy at 50 also: Kerala HC

Kerala high court ruled that a woman aged 50 can opt for surrogacy under the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021. This overturns an earlier decision by a single bench that denied her eligibility. The court emphasized the intent to allow motherhood within the age range of 23 to 50 and ordered certification within a week.
