BIS cracks down on e-comm giants over 'unsafe' goods

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has seized thousands of uncertified and unsafe products from Amazon, Flipkart, and other online marketplaces. Investigations revealed violations involving Techvision International Pvt Ltd, leading to the seizure of over 11,000 non-certified items including electric appliances and toys from various Delhi and Gurugram warehouses.
