Children abandoned 150 seniors in Belagavi hospital: Karnataka govt

The Karnataka government has reported a disturbing new trend of children abandoning their elderly parents in state medical institutions after inheriting their properties. Over 150 cases have been recorded at Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences alone. Authorities are urging for the cancellation of property transfers executed by the abandoned parents to hold the children accountable.
