Afspa extended in Manipur, parts of Nagaland, Arunachal

The Centre has declared the entire state of Manipur as disturbed under Afspa for another six months, excluding areas within 13 police stations. This extension comes despite a relative calm in the state, and includes continuations in parts of Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh until September 30, 2025.
