UP man withdraws pension of dead father for 5 years

A pension fraud case surfaced in Gonda district. Ram Pratap Singh, son of Amarnath Singh, illegally withdrew his father's pension. He did this for five years after his father's death in 2020. The fraud was discovered after a complaint. Officials filed a case against Ram Pratap Singh. He withdrew Rs 16,33,000. Police are investigating the matter and further action is expected.
