Vadodara man fights 9-year legal battle to return Rs 14,000 payout to insurer

Vasudev Thakkar received excess insurance money for a repair. He initiated a legal battle to return the extra amount to New India Assurance. The dispute began in 2016 after Thakkar received over Rs 14,000. He tried to refund the money, but the company refused. Thakkar then approached consumer forums and the high court.
