Rs 22,864 crore corridor project connecting Meghalaya to Assam: Key decisions at cabinet meet

The Union Cabinet has approved a high-speed corridor connecting Meghalaya and Assam, aiming to boost connectivity and economic growth in the Northeast. Additionally, the fair and remunerative price of sugarcane has been increased to Rs 355 per quintal for the 2025-26 season.
