Bill in LS to tag IIM-G 'institute of national importance'

The government introduced the Indian Institutes of Management (Amendment) Bill, 2025, in Lok Sabha to grant IIM-Guwahati the status of an institution of national importance. This move follows a Memorandum of Settlement aimed at Assam's development.
