A driver-cum-conductor employed by the North-Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) has been suspended after a video surfaced showing him offering namaz inside a bus. Authorities initiated an inquiry to determine if the bus was halted mid-journey for the prayer, potentially inconveniencing passengers. The transport minister deemed such actions objectionable, emphasizing that religious practices should not disrupt operational duties.
