MBA graduate and CA arrested in Delhi for duping IT ministry of over Rs 3 crore
Tuesday, 13 May 2025 () Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing arrested Prashant Agarwal, an MBA graduate, and Sudhanshu Kumar Rakesh, a chartered accountant, for allegedly defrauding the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of over Rs 3 crore. They misappropriated funds from the SAMRIDH scheme meant for startups, with Agarwal submitting fake utilization certificates verified by Rakesh to mislead the ministry.
