President Trump said Friday that he's moving to set up direct talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin as soon as he can, after Putin opted to skip peace talks between Russia and Ukraine in Turkey. "I think it's time for us to just do it," Mr. Trump told reporters as he wrapped a four-day visit to the Middle East. Later, he told reporters on Air Force One, setting off on the journey back to Washington, that he might call Putin soon. "He and I will meet, and I think we'll solve it or maybe not," Mr. Trump said. "At least we'll know. And if we don't solve it, it'll be very interesting."

Zelensky delivered a stunning rebuke to Russian President Vladimir Putin, accusing him of being "afraid" to attend critical peace talks in Turkey. Speaking after the Istanbul summit collapsed with no major breakthroughs, Zelensky told European leaders—including French President Emmanuel Macron, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz—that he was ready for a face-to-face meeting, but Putin chose to hide behind subordinates.

Turkey Boycott: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has publicly backed Pakistan during India’s Operation Sindoor, calling PM Shehbaz Sharif his “precious brother” and praising the rare friendship between their nations. The message sparked outrage across India, with calls for a total boycott of Turkey and Azerbaijan. Shehbaz Sharif thanked Erdogan on X, while reports confirmed that Turkish-made drones were used in the conflict. Indian travel platform Ixigo suspended bookings to Turkey and Azerbaijan. Though symbolic, the $400 million Indian tourism market loss could still impact Turkey’s economy and image.

As the Congress invoked Indira Gandhi's 1971 Bangladesh war leadership to criticize the Modi government’s ceasefire deal with Pakistan, senior leader Shashi Tharoor urged a clear-eyed view of history. Calling the 2025 scenario "entirely different," Tharoor said India needs peace, not endless escalation. He emphasized the importance of preventing protracted conflict, arguing that while retaliation against terrorism is necessary, risking national stability without clear goals is not. The comments mark a sharp political and strategic contrast to current government narratives amid rising border tensions.

The bloodbath in Pahalgam is not an isolated tragedy—it is the latest chapter in a long history of violence against Hindu terror victims. Twenty-six innocent lives, mostly tourists, were killed not for profit or politics—but simply for being Hindu and Indian.
The Hindu terror victims of Pahalgam now join the forgotten exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from 1990, the persecuted minorities in Pakistan and Bangladesh, and the silenced families across South Asia. Under Prime Minister Modi, India is no longer passive—abrogation of Article 370, Balakot strikes, and upcoming decisive actions mark a new era.
This episode examines how India is preparing to respond, why the world looks away, and what it means for the future of Hindu terror victims worldwide. The time for silence is over.
