In Bijnor, a 30-year-old constable, Manoj Kumar, tragically died after a high-speed chase when a suspect's vehicle crashed into a canal. Despite suffering a fatal electric shock from downed power lines, Kumar heroically alerted his colleagues, preventing further casualties. The suspects, celebrating a friend's release, had earlier assaulted a truck driver.
