Bhopal advocate duped of Rs 78.25 lakh in stock market investment fraud

A senior advocate in Bhopal fell victim to a sophisticated online investment scam, losing Rs 78.25 lakh. Cyber-criminals, posing as stock market experts, lured him with initial profits through a mobile app and Telegram, then demanded a hefty tax fee before he could withdraw his funds. The Cyber-crime Branch has registered a case and initiated investigations to apprehend the fraudsters.
