‘Thug Life has become Thuggy’: Karnataka HC questions Kamal Haasan over ‘Kannada born from Tamil’ remark, asks ‘why can’t you apologise?’

IndiaTimes Tuesday, 3 June 2025 ()

Justice Nagaprasanna drew parallels to a past apology from C Rajagopalachari for similar comments. The court emphasized that freedom of expression doesn't justify hurting sentiments related to language and land.
