North Sikkim landslides: 113 tourists rescued, 30 airlifted; search efforts continue for 6 missing individuals

Following a devastating landslide in North Sikkim, the Indian Army has successfully rescued 113 stranded tourists, including foreign nationals, with 30 evacuated by helicopter. Military personnel are conducting relentless search and rescue operations in severe weather and treacherous terrain to assist affected locals. The Border Roads Organisation is also working to restore connectivity in the region after incessant rains triggered landslides and road blockages.
