‘Promised to marry her’: 17-year-old girl strangled, stuffed in suitcase, dumped near Karnataka tracks; 8 arrested from Bihar
Saturday, 7 June 2025 () Bengaluru police arrested eight individuals, including a minor, for the murder of a 17-year-old girl. The victim, from Bihar, was promised marriage by Aashiq Kumar. Kumar, in an intoxicated state, strangled her. He then, with the help of relatives, stuffed her body in a suitcase. The body was discovered near railway tracks. All suspects were apprehended in Bihar.
