Lt General Rajiv Ghai, Air Marshal Bharti take over as deputy chiefs

Lt General Rajiv Ghai, previously the director-general of military operations, has been promoted to Deputy Chief of Army Staff (Strategy). Air Marshal A.K. Bharti, former director-general of air operations, is now the Deputy Chief of Air Staff, focusing on modernization. Both officers conducted media briefings for Operation Sindoor before their promotions.
