'Not a private builder': DDA moves Delhi HC against Rera order, calls project registration mandate ‘jurisdictional overreach’
Monday, 9 June 2025 () Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has approached the Delhi High Court challenging RERA’s directive to register its housing projects, claiming it's not a real estate promoter but a statutory authority governed by the DDA Act. DDA argues RERA’s jurisdiction doesn't apply to it. The court has sought responses from RERA and the housing ministry. The case stems from DDA's Dwarka project.
