Ahmedabad plane crash: Air India, AI Express drop flight number '171' – report

Following the tragic crash of Air India flight 'AI 171' from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick, which claimed 241 lives, both Air India and Air India Express have decided to discontinue using the flight number. The Ahmedabad-London Gatwick service will now operate under 'AI 159'.
