Talking on mobile, Pune man falls to death in lift shaft; was attending relative’s funeral in Nagpur
Thursday, 3 July 2025 () Rajesh Jagtap, a 39-year-old Pune resident, tragically died in Nagpur after falling into an elevator shaft at a construction site while distracted by a phone call. Mistaking the shaft for a door on the first floor, he fell and initially seemed unharmed. However, he succumbed to internal injuries later at a hospital, prompting a police investigation into the accidental death.
