Odisha student sets self ablaze over 'harassment': UGC sets up 4-member panel; team will be led by GGIPU's professor

Following the tragic self-immolation of a B.Ed student in Balasore, Odisha, the UGC has formed a four-member fact-finding committee. This panel will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, including allegations of sexual harassment against the head of the education department. The committee will also assess the college's compliance with regulations and recommend preventive measures.
