'Younger brother of BrahMos': Amethi's IRRPL to complete delivery of AK-203 rifles soon; eyes exports by 2030

The Indian Army's future frontline weapon, the AK-203 assault rifle, will be fully indigenous by the end of 2025, according to IRRPL CEO Major General SK Sharma. Over 6 lakh rifles have been ordered, with 48,000 already delivered. Production is ramping up at the Korwa facility, aiming for complete order fulfillment by 2030, ahead of schedule.
