Baghel’s son laundered Rs 16.7 crore through shell firms: ED to court

The ED arrested Chaitanya Baghel, son of ex-Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, for allegedly laundering Rs 16.7 crore in connection to a Rs 2,100 crore liquor scam. Congress party has called for statewide protests. Baghel accuses the Centre of vendetta politics, while Priyanka Gandhi Vadra alleges the arrest is to suppress Baghel's raising of the Adani forest issue.
