UP to grant land rights to 10,000 East Pakistan refugees: CM calls move historic; legal route to replace repealed law

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to grant land ownership to over 10,000 families displaced from East Pakistan between 1960 and 1975, who settled in Pilibhit, Lakhimpur, Bijnor, and Rampur.
