Assam Cracks Down On Human Trafficking; 26 Minor Girls Rescued In Major Operation

Authorities in Assam have rescued 26 girls from a human trafficking operation at Tinsukia railway station, in Assam. The victims, reportedly en route to Tamil Nadu with forged documents, were saved during a joint railway police operation. Five suspects were detained, and investigations are underway, officials said on Friday.Β
