Chandrika Chaudhary, an 18-year-old aspiring doctor from Banaskantha, was allegedly murdered by her uncle for pursuing her dreams. Her family feared she would fall in love and marry by choice, bringing "dishonour" to them. The uncle allegedly drugged and strangled her, staging it as a suicide, but a habeas corpus petition filed by her partner exposed the crime.
