E-W Metro to start full run with 180 services, 8-min peak-hr frequency

Kolkata's East-West Metro, also known as the Green Line, is set to commence its full operations from Sector V to Howrah Maidan on Friday. With 180 daily services, trains will run every eight minutes during peak hours. The entire 16.6 km corridor will be functional seven days a week, significantly boosting connectivity.
