Postal services to the US ‘temporarily suspended’ amid new rules
Saturday, 23 August 2025 () India has temporarily halted postal services to the US due to new American customs rules. US-bound air carriers are unable to carry shipments due to a lack of clarity regarding duty collection on goods valued over $100, effective August 29. Letters, documents, and gifts under $100 will still be delivered.
