Desi hypersonic missiles, AI system on defence minister wish list

India's defence ministry has unveiled a 15-year technology roadmap, outlining requirements for the domestic industry. The roadmap includes over 200 weapon systems and futuristic technologies, such as hypersonic missiles, stealth drones, and AI-driven systems. The Navy seeks nuclear-powered warships, while the Army needs next-gen tanks. The IAF desires stratospheric airships. This initiative aims to boost self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
