'I'm in a very fortunate position' - Newey on Aston Martin move
Tuesday, 10 September 2024 Adrian Newey tells BBC Sport's Joe Wilson "it is easy to become stale", but his "passion has always been for trying to find ways to make the car go faster" after joining Aston Martin.
The former CEO of Aston Martin says tariffs are "very bad for the car industry" and worries that the US will "no longer be competitive with the Chinese" in AI and new energy as a result. Andy Palmer adds that the "inevitable" increase in prices will decrease car production volume, meaning "people will lose their jobs in foreign factories, including the UK". Report by Brooksl.
