A shooting in Renton, Washington has sparked panic, with police confirming reports of “multiple victims.” The gunfire erupted just after 7:30 pm near the intersection of Kirkland Ave NE and NE 18th St, sending shockwaves through the local community. Renton Police have sealed off the area and urged residents to avoid the vicinity, calling it an “active scene.” The number of casualties is yet to be confirmed.
The incident follows another shooting from last week at a Renton transit center, although that one was ruled out for charges due to a prior scuffle. Now, with a fresh shooting so soon after, questions are mounting on rising gun violence in the area. Investigators are currently gathering evidence at the scene. Stay tuned as we break this story with the latest developments and police updates from Renton.
