Thursday, 5 June 2025 () When I first saw Twilight Wars, I was quite impressed with the idea of blending multiple genres, and I was also quite worried that it might not work. The idea of having a tactical dungeon crawler with roguelite elements and turn based combat isn’t something that anyone can pull off easily. But that’s where Twilight Wars manages to shine, because not only does it have very immersive gameplay, but it also manages to tell a gripping, interesting story as well. Right off the bat, we find ourselves in a beautiful cyberpunk world where corporations have become superpowers. They are ruling the world, so our focus is to try and regain control the best way we can. We do so by creating a spy agency, we hire all kinds of agents, train them and put them through grueling combat. Eventually, the main focus is to wage a covert war, all while staying in the shadows.
