6 Ex-Officers Plead Guilty to State Charges in Torture of Two Black Men

Six white former law enforcement officers pleaded guilty to state charges related to beating two black men in Mississippi. The guilty pleas came just days after their federal guilty pleas for civil rights violations related to the same incident. After barging into the victims' home and assaulting them, the former officers tried to cover up the attack by planting a gun and destroying evidence.
