Presidential debate shows how GOP candidates are struggling to address concerns about climate change

During a recent Republican presidential debate, not a single candidate raised their hand when asked if they believed human behavior is causing climate change. Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley was the only candidate who acknowledged that climate change is real. This has frustrated leaders in the GOP's environmental activist movement, who believe that Republicans are alienating voters who care about climate change.
