Sunday, 3 September 2023 Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called for the immediate deportation of Eritrean migrants involved in a violent clash in Tel Aviv and has ordered a plan to remove all African migrants from the country. The clashes between Eritrean supporters and opponents of the Eritrean government resulted in dozens of injuries.
