Bells tolled at ground zero and people gathered at memorials, firehouses, and city halls to honor the victims of the deadliest terror attack on US soil. President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and First Lady Jill Biden participated in separate ceremonies to pay their respects.
