Philippines, China trade barbs amid floating barrier row

The Philippines has asserted its determination not to yield to Chinese attempts to obstruct its fishermen from accessing a highly disputed shoal in the South China Sea. In response, Beijing issued a warning to the Southeast Asian nation, cautioning against actions that could "provoke and cause trouble."
