Russian President Putin insists Ukraine's new US-supplied weapon won't change the war's outcome

IndiaTimes Wednesday, 18 October 2023
A Russian missile attack in southern Ukraine killed two civilians in an apartment building. President Vladimir Putin dismissed the significance of the US-supplied Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) that Ukraine used to target Russian air assets. Ukraine claimed to have destroyed nine Russian helicopters, ammunition, and an air defense system using the ATACMS. Putin acknowledged the additional threat posed by the ATACMS but believed it would not change the situation on the front line.
