Elon Musk says 'those working from home are detached from reality'
Thursday, 19 October 2023 Elon Musk criticized the prevalence of remote work, stating that those working from home are "detached from reality." He questioned the morality of allowing some people to work from home while others, such as factory workers and restaurant staff, had to continue working on-site. Musk had previously emailed Tesla workers, banning remote work unless personally approved by him.
Despite the pandemic being over, many have retained their remote work status and it’s become somewhat of a norm. However, now Tesla CEO Elon Musk says those who want to continue working from home are “detached from reality” criticizing the movement. Veuer’s Tony Spitz has the details.
