Pakistan: Journalist injured as unknown assailants open fire on motorcycle

A journalist named Yasir Shah was injured when he fell off his motorbike after unknown gunmen fired at him on Rawalpindi Road in Islamabad. Shah was returning from covering an event when the incident occurred. The attackers fled the scene and the police have initiated an operation to apprehend them. Shah and his cameraman were unable to identify the offenders. The Kohat Press Club and the Kohat Union of Journalists have condemned the attack.
