28 countries and EU sign pact against AI's 'catastrophic' risks

IndiaTimes Wednesday, 1 November 2023
Countries such as India, UK, US, and China have agreed to collaborate in order to protect against the potential harm caused by artificial intelligence (AI). This agreement was reached at the world's first summit on AI safety, held in Bletchley Park, UK. The participating nations signed the "Bletchley Declaration," emphasizing the need to collectively manage the risks associated with AI. While the declaration lacks specific policy goals, a second meeting is scheduled in South Korea and a third in France.
